Wooden and Rusty - September 07 Edition
The recent flood of cover versions getting air time at the moment can be laid firmly at the feet of Mark Ronson and his recent ‘Versions’ album. So I decided that I’d sift through the flotsam and pick out my favourite tracks for your entertainment.
As is our want here at Triplejaysus, we’ve avoided the obvious in favour of the overlooked, the unusual and one or two tracks that were waaAAaay before their time. You’ll hear from favourites like Beck, The Darkness, Fiest , Chris Cornell and some lesser known gems from Snuff, Dread Zepplin and Dolly Parton. That’s right, Dolly Parton. You may be surprised because you just might like it!
