Triplejaysus.com under fire!

I most heartily apologise for the radio silence of late folks, but Triplejaysus.com was disabled by  my ISP on a “terms of service violation”. i.e. - I had  potentially copyright violating  music files on this webpage, and thus their server. And that won’t do.

So they disabled my site, and I received a rather curt email notifying me, with no explanation other than ‘terms of service violation’. So all the music is gone from the site now, despite label and artist’s approval, including the podcasts.

I am currently in negotiations to sort all this out, so please stay posted.

Joe Satriani Sues Coldplay Over “Viva La Vida”

Probably a bit sore after realising he named his recent album after a famous architectural practice, Satriani pays it foward to Coldplay.  The virtuoso guitarist filed a lawsuit claiming “Viva la Vida” contains “substantial original portions” of his 2004 instrumental tune “If I Could Fly”. Satriani wants a jury trial, damages, and “any and all profits” from the song. 

So my advice to marcus is wait till the ’surfing with the alien’ dude is riding the wave of Cold (play) Hard Cash.*

* - the author realises that was sub-standard attepmt at humour, but it’s been a busy day. Whadaya gonnado?
