Bang Gang 12″ - The Death Set
Negative Thinking (Treasure Fingers Remix)
Friday - Yay! To help you get in the mood for the weekend those nice Bang Gang DJ’s have dropped a cracker! Wrap your ears around this little beauty…
And while you’re bobbing your head ( Big up to all those in Bobbin Head ) check out the new list to the right. A friend recently asked if I’d heard of Fleet Foxes. I gently pointed him to the June 4 review. But that got me thinking that you could miss a review easily - so I’ve listed all the _wednesday_weviews for easy browsing.
Enjoy.

AC/DC - Rock ‘n’ Roll Train
It comes to this: In a further attempt to alienate our loyal readership I’m going to heap a self indulgent love upon injury. I could have sat back on my laurels having successfully implied that you aren’t cool, but that’s not how things around here work.
I need to send mixed signals, the corner stone to any long term relationship. (Even that sentence is alienating more readers still!) And the cherry to top this sundae of patronising and slightly sarcastic amateur (and getting more so) prolix?
The new AC/DC single - Rock ‘n’ Roll Train!
ROCK!

Radiohead can, it seems, do no wrong. Not content with being considered rock gods and all round good guys for donating an extra £30,000 from their own pocket for the recent video competition, they’ve decided to webcast their entire last perfromance in their North American Tour. And it’s a doozey. Here’s what they had to say:
Hello! To celebrate the end of a brilliant tour, we’re going to webcast the last show here in America. We’ll be playing live in Santa Barbara, at the Bowl. It’s one of our favourite places to play; I think we’ve ended tours there before, once even playing a cover of [Neil Young’s] ‘ cinnamon girl ‘. It’s not too big, in fact it’s very intimate, a small arena with a dirt floor, set in pretty countryside. It should be a special night, for lots of reasons, and we’re going to try and share as much of it as we can on the webcast. Nigel [Godrich], our producer, will be helping out getting it to you, so if it goes wrong….It’s live!
Thank you so much to everyone who’s come and seen us this year; it has truly been the most special and exciting tour for all of us.
Webcast details to follow…

THE WHIP - BLACKOUT
THE WHIP are the latest ‘electro-rock’ band to make a name for themselves, following hot on the heels of ‘Does it offend you, yeah?’ and ‘Just a Band’. With basslines perfect for big room clubs, and tracks that were made for remixing, The Whip are sure to be the next big thing. (Well, for this month at least!)
